ok this is my second attempt. my first attempt entry was wiped out when i accidently hit the back button!

day 2: the fall and the beginning of civilization
the scriptures detail out adam's descendants including the story of cain and abel. kinda interesting to note how God preferred abel's offering over cain's. shows that God knows our hearts and how genuine we are in giving Him praises and offerings.
for thought and contemplation, the author posed "satan has a well worked-out strategy with which he tempts humanity. he appeals (1) to the lust of the flesh, (2) to the lust of the eyes and (3) to the pride of life. are you able to discern this strategy at work in your life? and are you overcoming it?"
my answer is Yes, i'm able to discern lusts and pride. but i'm trying really really hard overcoming them. pride is a downfall but is it ok to be proud of my achievements? i think so as long as i don't boast. as long as i say that my achievements are from God and not only from me. i guess lusts are difficult issues to overcome. i can control them by praying and controlling the physical and materialistic urges. i pray that God will give me strength!
